Welcome to the Pillar of Truth Magazine!
This online resource is the creation of Greg Madden, who preaches for the congregation
of the Lord's church in Uvalde, TX (Uvalde church of Christ). Greg, along with other
faithful gospel preachers, have published this online resource as a tool to studying
and learning what God requires for salvation and how the scriptures answer the pressing
issues of our time.
This resource is devoted entirely and is based solely on the teaching of God's word
and only God's word. As the Lord Jesus Christ Himself said,
"...if you continue in my word, you are my disciples indeed, and you shall know
the truth and the truth shall make you free..." (Jn. 8: 31-32),
We hold to the truth, which is the word of God. We do not claim to
have all the answers, but God does have the answers, and we know, because God has
said, that we can all understand the bible alike since we can understand the scriptures,
when we read them. God tells us,
"...assuming that you have heard of the stewardship of God's grace that was given
to me for you, [3] how the mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I have
written briefly. [4] When you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery
of Christ, [5] which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations
as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit..."
